As the Thoracic and Lung Transplant Nurse Coordinator, Neha’s inspiring journey spans eight years of clinical experience. She plays a crucial role in India’s largest Chest Surgery team, performing Open, VATS, and Robotic Chest Surgeries, including Lung Transplantations, and managing critical chest trauma cases.

A Valuable Team Player

Neha’s nursing career began at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Toronto General Hospital for specialized training in Lung Transplants. Her commitment to advancing the field is evident in her indexed publications and active role in organizing Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions for healthcare professionals.

Beyond her clinical skills, Neha has a deep understanding of global health challenges. She completed a certificate course on the Health Effects of Climate Change from Harvard University and released a video on Green Recovery after COVID-19 for the Global Climate and Health Alliance, showcasing her dedication to a sustainable and healthier future. Recently, the Institute of Chest Surgery Team at Medanta was recognized as an Emerging Active Lung Transplant Centre in North India by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO).
